HH Social Club Participation Waiver & Release of Liability

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

 

Voluntary Participation

I understand that participation in HH Social Club activities, gatherings, events, outings, trips, classes, social functions, and other activities is voluntary.

 

I understand that participation in these activities may involve risks, including but not limited to accidents, falls, illness, injuries, transportation-related incidents, actions of other participants or third parties, loss or damage to personal property, and other risks associated with social, recreational, dining, travel, and group activities.

 

Assumption of Risk

By choosing to participate in an HH Social Club activity, I knowingly and voluntarily accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with my participation.

 

I am responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for me and for making decisions concerning my own participation, transportation, personal safety, health, belongings, and conduct.

 

Third-Party Venues and Providers

I understand that many HH Social Club activities may take place at independently owned or operated restaurants, bars, hotels, resorts, transportation providers, entertainment venues, recreational facilities, tour operators, and other third-party locations.

 

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these businesses and providers are independent from HH Social Club, and HH Social Club does not control their facilities, employees, services, safety practices, or operations.

 

Transportation and Travel

I understand that transportation to, from, or during an HH activity may be provided or arranged independently or through third-party transportation providers.

 

Travel may involve additional risks, delays, cancellations, injuries, lost property, schedule changes, or other circumstances outside

HH Social Club's control.

 

Participants are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms, conditions, insurance requirements, cancellation policies, and safety requirements of applicable travel and transportation providers.

 

Personal Property

I am responsible for my own personal property during HH Social Club activities. HH Social Club is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal belongings except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

 

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and hold harmless HH Social Club and its owners, organizers, officers, representatives, volunteers, and agents from claims for personal injury, property damage, loss, or other harm arising from my voluntary participation in HH Social Club activities, including claims arising from ordinary negligence to the extent such claims may lawfully be released in advance.

This release does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be waived or released.

 

Conduct of Other Participants

I understand that HH Social Club brings people together socially but cannot guarantee or control the behavior of every member, guest, participant, venue, vendor, or other third party.

 

I am responsible for exercising appropriate judgment when interacting with other participants, including individuals I meet through HH Social Club or HH Hooked.

 

Emergency Situations

If an emergency occurs during an HH Social Club activity, I understand that HH representatives may contact emergency services when reasonably appropriate. I remain responsible for my own medical expenses, insurance coverage, and other expenses resulting from an illness, accident, or injury.
